How to install a Minecraft snapshot

A snapshot version is an early test version of Minecraft. It's how they test the upcoming versions of the game. Using these you can get access to the feature sooner, but it might be more unstable. Please backup your world before using a snapshot.

To Install

To install head to the Version Installer under Game Tools. Here select Snapshots from the dropdown, then select the Snapshot you would like to test.
